ASHLAND, Va. - Randolph-Macon men's basketball has been selected as one of 16 schools to host the opening weekend of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament on March 1-2. RMC, sitting at 23-4, will host Baruch (19-8) on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and St. Joseph (24-4) will play Geneva (24-3) at 5:00 p.m. in Crenshaw Gym on Friday, March 1. The winners of the two contests will meet in the second round on Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in Ashland. The Yellow Jackets earned an at-large bid after falling in the ODAC tournament this past weekend, marking their sixth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance after making the Sweet 16 a year ago. It will be their 29th overall appearance in the tournament. |
