The Patriots' fourth quarter comeback fell just short as Raymon Minor missed the front end of a one-and-one with 1.7 seconds left, as Mills Godwin held on at home for a 59-57 win.
Patrick Henry opened the fourth quarter on a 9-0 run to take the lead for the first time since early in the first, but could not close the door in the end.
The Patriots next go out of the Colonial District to face private school power Benedictine Saturday night on the road.
