Tuesday Scoreboard!

BASEBALL:

Hanover 2, Atlee 0 (Hanover improves to 8-1 in Capital, 14-3 overall; Atlee now 6-3, 10-6)
Lee-Davis 13, Highland Springs 4 (L-D improves to 8-1 in Capital, 13-4 overall)

SOFTBALL:

Hanover 5, Atlee 3 (Hanover moves to 7-2 in Capital, 10-5 overall; Atlee falls to 6-2, 12-3)
Lee-Davis 19, Highland Springs 0 (Amy Wingfield pitches a five-inning two-hitter and drives in five runs. L-D moves to 9-0 in Capital, 15-2 overall)

BOYS SOCCER:

Hanover 2, Atlee 1 (Hanover now 7-1, 9-3, while Atlee loses its first game, now 8-1, 8-1-1)
Patrick Henry 1, Douglas Freeman 1 (Patriots now 6-7-1 in Colonial and overall)
Lee-Davis 3, Highland Springs 2 (Confederates move to 6-4 in Capital, 6-6 overall)

GIRLS SOCCER:

Atlee 3, Hanover 1 (Raiders all but sew up Capital District title, move to 9-0, 13-0. Hawks now 7-2, 9-3)
Douglas Freeman 2, Patrick Henry 1 (Patriots now 4-5-1 in Colonial, 5-5-1 overall)

BOYS LACROSSE:

Deep Run 16, Patrick Henry 5 (Patriots are now 6-5)

GIRLS LACROSSE:

Atlee 18, Hermitage 1 (Raiders improve to 11-1)
Patrick Henry 13, Deep Run 11 (Patriots move to 4-8)


COLONIAL DISTRICT TENNIS TOURNAMENT:

Both Patrick Henry boys doubles' teams lost in opening round action. In girls play, both doubles teams advanced in the first round, but fell in the quarterfinals.

CAPITAL DISTRICT TENNIS TOURNAMENT:

Angelina Sportelli of Lee-Davis is the lone county qualifier for the District Tournament Girls Semifinals. Karen Pak of Glen Allen knocked out Hanover's top seed, Hannah Tibbett, 6-0, 6-1. Freshman Carly Feyerabend of Atlee won her first round match, but fell 6-2, 6-0 in the quarterfinals to Henrico's Ally Phillips.
