Tuesday Scores and Highlights!

In spite of the weather, some scheduled action took place Tuesday as the race for District titles come down to the wire!

BASEBALL:
Patrick Henry 15, Thomas Jefferson 0
**Lee-Davis 6, Glen Allen 2 (NOT a final; score in 5th inning just before rain began; no word on if the game went official or will have to be rescheduled)
Atlee at Highland Springs, PPD (Rain)

SOFTBALL:
Lee-Davis 2, Glen Allen 0 (Kelly Heinz hit a home run in the top of the 7th to end a scoreless tie while Lauren McIntyre struck out ten.
Hanover 6, Varina 2 (Erica Barrett homered and tripled)
Atlee at Highland Springs, PPD (Rain)

NOTE:  If Atlee wins tonight in their makeup game against the Springers and defeats Lee-Davis Friday in the season finale, they will tie for first in the Capital District.  If Hanover defeats Henrico, there will be a three-way tie.  If Lee-Davis wins, they win the District outright.

BOYS SOCCER:
Glen Allen 3, Lee-Davis 2 (Confederates lose on a late goal by the Jaguars off a controversial offside call)
Atlee 6, Highland Springs 0 (Raiders remain 1/2 game ahead of Hanover in Capital District race)
Hanover 5, Varina 0

GIRLS SOCCER:
Atlee 11, Highland Springs 0 (Raiders now 11-0 in Capital, 15-0 overall)
Glen Allen at Lee-Davis, PPD (Rain)
Hanover at Varina, PPD (Rain)

BOYS LACROSSE:
Atlee 8, Patrick Henry 5 (Raiders are 12-3, Patriots fall to 6-6)

GIRLS LACROSSE:
Atlee 13, Patrick Henry 4 (Raiders finish 13-1; Patriots fall to 5-9)
