FOOTBALL FINALS

For the first time ever, all four county schools begin their football seasons at 2-0...

#8 Atlee 31, Mills Godwin 28--J.J. Givens with two huge interceptions in the fourth quarter, Chris Green scores the winning TD with 2:07 left.

Lee-Davis 49, Prince George 6--Confederates roll to a big halftime lead and are 2-0 for the first time over 15 years.

Patrick Henry 27, Glen Allen 0--Patriots shut out Jaguars for first 2-0 start since 2006, host Mills Godwin next Friday.

Hanover 41, J.R. Tucker 6--Marcus Bazala assumes the QB position and leads Hawks to a big win as Clayton Cheatham will be out several weeks recovering from injury.
