9-0: Randolph-Macon Pulls Away From Virginia Wesleyan

Up by six points in Norfolk at halftime, Randolph-Macon found another gear in the second half as the bench again flexed its muscle on the scoreboard as the Yellow Jackets completed a regular season sweep of Old Dominion Athletic Conference preseason favorite Virginia Wesleyan with a 76-57 victory Wednesday night.

Sophomore Montese Adams (#4, pictured below) shattered his previous career-high of 13 points with 22, along with 11 rebounds, while freshman Korey Turner (#1, pictured below) also had a career high with 16 points. Sophomore Grayson Midulla added twelve points as the Yellow Jackets received 64 of their 76 points from bench players.

Virginia Wesleyan was playing without the ODAC's leading scorer, Khory Moore, suspended for the game due to his role in an altercation near the end of the Marlins' game last Saturday.

Randolph-Macon, now 9-0 in the ODAC, a game ahead of second place Guilford, and 13-5 overall, has won 12 of their last 13 games, and return to Crenshaw Gymnasium to face Washington and Lee on Saturday at 4:30pm for Alumni Day.
