Summer Price poured in 26 points as Patrick Henry defeated Colonial Heights 65-19 in the first round of the Southerner Tip-Off Classic Thursday night at Lee-Davis.
In the nightcap, Lee-Davis manhandled King William 60-19 as Kerstin Winston and Kori Hughes each had 12 points. The Confederates and Patriots will meet in Saturday's championship game at 5:45pm in Mechanicsville.
Meanwhile, Atlee's girls team fell on opening night for the Raiders, losing at Mills Godwin 49-31, as Stephanie Staples scored 13 points and grabbed 7 boards. The Raiders open Capital District play next Friday, 12/7 at home versus Glen Allen at 6pm.
In boys action, Central Virginia Home School defeated Atlee 49-47 in the consolation bracket of the Rebel Invitational at Douglas Freeman.
