Tuesday Finals

It was a VERY busy day in high school sports!

BASEBALL:

Hanover 3, Highland Springs 0 (Chris Childress strikes out ten and has two hits as the Hawks improve to 7-1 in the Capital, 12-3 overall, putting them 1/2 game ahead of Lee-Davis in the standings)

Lee-Davis 14, Henrico 0 (5 innings) (Jacob Perks pitches a one-hit shutout and hits a three-run homer! Lee-Davis now 6-1 in the Capital, 11-4 overall)

Patrick Henry at John Marshall, PPD until May 10th

SOFTBALL:

Lee-Davis 13, Henrico 1 (5 innings) (C-Feds bounce back from loss to Prince George with a 21-hit attack; Amy Wingfield pitches a complete game. Lee-Davis now 7-0 in Capital, 13-2 overall)

Hanover 11, Highland Springs 1 (5 innings) (Hawks score five in the first, including a two-run homer by Brooke Throckmorton and three triples, improving to 6-2 in the Capital, 8-5 overall, winners of four straight)

GIRLS TENNIS:

Hanover 7, Henrico 2 (Hanover clinches Capital District regular season crown, now 11-0, 12-1)
Patrick Henry 7, J.R. Tucker 2 (Patriots now even at 8-8 in Colonial District and overall)
Varina 6, Atlee 3 (Raiders now 5-7 in Capital, 5-11 overall)
Glen Allen 7, Lee-Davis 2 (Confederates now 3-8 in Capital, 5-10 overall)


BOYS TENNIS:

J.R. Tucker 6, Patrick Henry 3 (Patriots fall to 4-10 in Colonial and overall)
Atlee 9, Varina 0 (Raiders now 9-4 in Capital, 10-5 overall)
Hanover 5, Henrico 4 (Hawks remain undefeated at 13-0 in Capital, 15-0 overall)
Lee-Davis 7, Glen Allen 2 (L-D now 7-6 in Capital, 8-7 overall)


BOYS SOCCER:

Deep Run 5, Patrick Henry 0 (Patriots fall to 5-7 in Colonial and overall)
Hanover 3, Highland Springs 0 (Hawks improve to 6-1 in Capital, 8-1 overall)
Lee-Davis 3, Henrico 2 (Confederates move to 4-2 in Capital, 5-2 overall)


GIRLS SOCCER:

Deep Run 8, Patrick Henry 0 (Patriots fall to 5-6-1 in Colonial and overall)
Hanover 9, Highland Springs 0 (Hawks move to 7-1 in Capital, 9-2 overall)


GIRLS LACROSSE:

Atlee 19, Glen Allen 3 (Raiders improve to 9-1)


BOYS LACROSSE:

Midlothian 13, Hanover 6 (Hawks are now 8-6)
