Emma Mitchell pitched a no-hitter Tuesday night leading Patrick Henry to a 10-0 victory at J.R. Tucker. The Patriots improve to 7-0 in the Colonial District, 10-0 overall.
Lee-Davis ran their winning streak to eight games, as freshman pitcher Lauren McIntyre scattered five hits, striking out eight as the Confederates defeated Hanover 8-0. Haleigh Cottrell and Victoria Houff each scored twice while Becca Fields went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Lee-Davis is now 4-0 in the Capital District, 8-1 overall.
The Patriots return home Friday to play Maggie Walker Governors School. Lee-Davis welcomes Glen Allen to Mechanicsville on Friday.
