A tough night for Atlee is salvaged by the girls soccer team with a win to move one step from the State 5A Tournament. A familiar foe is in their way....
GIRLS SOCCER:
5A South Region Quarterfinal: Atlee 1, Clover Hill 0
SOFTBALL:
5A South Region Semifinal: Prince George 1, Atlee 0 (Raiders finish at 17-6 as Royals push home game's only run in the bottom of the 7th for the victory.)
LACROSSE:
South Zone Boys Semifinal: Western Albemarle 8, Atlee 4
South Zone Girls Semifinal: Salem 11, Atlee 9
Ironically, teams that lost were playing for berths in state tournaments.
Atlee girls soccer joins Patrick Henry softball and Hanover baseball playing in Region Semifinals on Wednesday night!
